Sophomore Year

Sophomore year was something else entirely. After living with thirty loud, boisterous, newly-independent women first year, my second year was spent with six other people in a small theme house. Writers' House 99-2000!

My roommates were Renee and Lauren -- my best friends from first year (and, as for Lauren, my roommate last year as well!) Living in a triple was hard, sometimes -- we had our moments. But it was a lot of fun, in retrospect. Nah, it was a lot of fun at the time as well. No regrets at all. :)

Our housemates Dan, Tim, Eva, and Robin, were... an interesting mix. :) But a lot of fun. Us girls got to be good friends with the guys upstairs, and we still keep in touch with Eva, our house manager. She's a riot.

My sophomore year was when I got fully involved with The Herald, the school's newspaper; I was news editor for a semester and then ended up taking on the role of editor-in-chief by the end of the year. This activity has been the most stressful thing I've done at school; but by far, the thing I'm most proud of.
